Hello Anri, yes, this is made of metal.  If you clean it after used, it keeps for long time.  We keep lots of metal accessories in our office, too; and they haven't rust.  n_n

Hello Vincent, the length of the necklace is 52cm.  you can adjust it to shorter length but not longer than 52 cm. n_n
